This may sound stupid, but I just cut an avocado in half and want to keep the other half. I think I need to take out the stone, right? Or leave it? Thanks

I think that's a myth about the lonely avocado. They are high in monounsaturated oil which usually gets lumped into the fat content.

Rub lemon juice on the flesh & refrigerate, it stops it going brown (it works for me, I'm the only one in my family who eats them, lovely with coleslaw )

Thanks for the tips.
As I didnt get an answer immediately, I threw the stone away and put it in clingfilm without oil or lemon.
I'd rather use olive oil, which we consume plenty of here in Southern France / Italy than lemon.
Anyway, no worries, gf came back from the USA and was hungry so I sliced it and made her a nice vinaigrette with it (mustard, balsamic vinegar (from Modena, like the shïtty Ferraris) salt, pepper and mixed to a nice creamy consistency with oilive oil.
But still, Thanks for the tips!
Oh, and avocado is unsaturated vegatal fat and the ones I get here have quite some taste! And it's very good with that vinaigrette I made, or with shrimps and cocktail sauce amongst others
