Check your policy. Personally I would doubt that would be covered. However it won't cost *that* much to fix (as long as the floor joists aren't rotted through
) so don't panic ![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)

It depends on the insurance policy. We have accidental damage insurance, costs more but with my accident prone wife we need it, so in the past have claimed for all sorts, from broken sinks, to new carpets and fixing blocked drains.
Best thing to do is ring the insurance company and ask them.
Good Luck

phoned the insurance this morning,
it will be a claim on the buildings, they are sending somebody out, was told they have a company xyz, who will basically estimate and proceed with the job.
2 things
was told i will have to fix the leak, but they will have to rip the bath out etc to redo the walls and floors so surely they will have to re-plumb all this to put it back in.
next question - certain people in the office have suggested the oops !! and wangle the new bathroom suite approach ? !!!!
