(Apologies to the Stone Roses)

A week off to do **** all, kids are at school, maybe a little decorating, maybe watch Ferris Buellers Day Off with a large bag of crisps, 2 litres of proper Coke and a family bag of Maltesers. Maybe listen to music at innapropriate volume, perhaps lavish a little attention on my 15 year old........... Golf GTI, perhaps a little xxx (IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY MIND), possibly go shopping but I forgot I am male so thats not an option. Oh my I am happy, a little drunk after a good meal and the whole week before me.

No work so no project plans, supervising Muppets, pandering to management, nurse maiding databases, reading email, going to meetings, stitching up project managers or reading manuals.

Life is good, proper R and R, except I forgot that tommorow is a Bank Hol so the kids are home.

What do you lot do for the ultimate self indulgent day off ?

Sleep, not really possible as the kids are here, once they are upm I am up, even if Wendy gets them ready and takes them to school, there is so much noise even the dog cant sleep.

Anyway, I am 32 so I am probably due to start getting up an 5 am for no good reason !
