I am wondering if I have a drink problem. Basically I drink a bottle of wine a day, every day

I have a very good relationship with my wife...rarely if ever argue, life is very good

Haven't taken a day off sick this year at all. My work is judged to be very good. I regularly get in the office before 6.00am and rarely leave much before 5.00

The first thing I do though when I get in is unplug a bottle of wine normally drunk while I do the dinner

Just recently I am thinking this might be excessive

Any comments. I am hoping I am not the only one

do you share the wine with the missus, or do you glug the lot down yourself.

i dont htink you are quite on the Keith Chegwin stage yet, so relax and drink some more!!!

very commendable work hours!!

I find I need a drink in the evening to de-stress....Wife doesn't drink so I end up doing the lot

Talking

red wine is good for you

the only snag would be if you needed to go out later - you'd be over the limit. But if you're not, so what, life is for living

nice one man, my missus dont drink, but i make up for it with copious amounts of stella.

i heard those trading floors can be nasty areas.
some it bod i know got a monitor chucked at him by a trader!!!

i would end up dragged into HR if i worked there!!!

i'm sure you alcohol content is OK, if you fell Ok the next day etc..

everyone is different, so its hard to gauge.
also if you eat properly etc....

we should sort out a drink in the city, i know Bravo2Zero will be working near Aldgate next week, and i'm around the Fenchurch St area everyday, so let me know.

anyone else fancy a quick pint one night in the city???

I was wondering if I had a drink prob last night when my boyfriend pointd out that since we have been together (over 2 years) he's never known me to have a night without at least a glass of wine of a can of lager. I enjoy a drink but it has concerned me!....... can't wait to get home and crack open a bottle!

Stop drinking the wine for a fortnight. If you can't do it you have a dependancy problem?

do it

anyway you want to make sure you have a good life by dying in a fast car, poor, overweight, with a fcuked liver.

don't know about the middle two, but you've got the first and the last sorted

Enjoy the drink and don't worry... that amount of drink won't kill you... worrying about it will... [all with the proviso you are not grossly overweight or have bad bloodpressure numbers]

You don't have a drink problem if you can easily go without out it for a night, few nights, week. Alcholics are dependant on the drink and thats the real problem!

I reckon the first sign of trouble is if you are staying permanently drunk with top ups throughout the day. I knew a guy at work who was an alcy and he stank of booze all day every day.

If you don't drink enough to make yourself feel crap the next day, i.e. are recovering totally then I reckon you are ok.

A wino would get smashed, wake up and start drinking more to postpone the hangover!

Until recently, that was the average in France. I dont think they die earlier or are worse off than English people?
