(For those that have been following this see Page 2 & 3 for further news Cheers.)
Please, please try and help find who did this.
Ask your kids, your mates down the pub, your neighbours.
Just ask any one to listen out for any talk,be it someone bragging about it or just rumour.
Think.Someone you know who had a pup that suddenly disappeared.
This was in the Harehills area of Leeds.
I know its a long shot, but we should not just sit by & do nothing.

If I caught whoever did this and I am making an assumption that they were male, I would slice off their genitals and stuff them down their throat

I had a collie when i lived at my parents - hes still with us although knocking on now! I wouldnt have any other dog! So intelligent and friendly. How anyone could do this to a puppy is beyond belief and that picture just saddens me. Id chop their ears and their fingers off! TW@TS!

That is terrible.
Psychological profiling would normally indicate that whoever did this is likely to go on to kill a fellow human at some point in their life.
Whoever did this needs finding and putting away for life as they are clearly a hazard to society.

Saw this on GMTV this morning, and even the newsreader was upset, saying how distressing it was.
I hope the scumbags are caught - sick f*cks don't deserve to be part of society

This is pretty sick, yes.
But I don't see you lot getting so animated about other cruelty that goes on every day in this country. For example, tail-docking, which is legal, oft-encouraged, goes on every day around the country, and is just a cruel/painful......

Not trying to do anything.
Just think it's ironic that everyone gets uppity about a story which is based around a nice fluffy puppy (and already has loads of publicity in the newpapers) when they probably don't give animal welfare a 2nd thought for the other 364 days of the year.

Thanks for all your concern guys.
Cheers for passing on the word Steve(P20SPD} & Mr Manchester.
Sorry for the upset David & thanks for your offer/efforts in this.Only sorry i'm not near enough to give more active help but at least the ball is rolling.
My missus cried when she saw what had happened,& gave our two,Misty & Bracken,an extra hug.
We would appreciate any news of the outcome of all this.Any follow up by the local paper on Berkeley & hopefully news of an arrest.

I thought that tail docking is illegal now. Certainly its hard to find a vet who will do it.
There are European countries who still cut the ears of dogs in order that they are permanently "pricked" up - in past it was fashionable particularly on the Dobermann breed. IIRC, that involves cutting a bit of skin from the inner edge of the ear.

MarkO "Not trying to do anything."
Exactly.So don't.
Freedom of speech, freedom to express one's opinion, freedom to walk on by & do nothing, freedom to be negative about anything that you don't happen to feel strongly about.
Seems to be a trend for you.
How sad is that. You must lead a very bitter life.
Enough of the gloom.Luckily not everyone is of the same disposition as our friend Mr MarkO.
A £1000 reward has been put up by an Essex guy,Steve Guest from Chingford.Nice one m8.

no problem flat eric
Mark O, just imagine this happening to your dog, i think you would take a different view.
but maybe atleast tail docking would have been done by a qualified vet with anaesthetic and not blunt scissors! i wont even try to imagine the poor pups yelps as the scum where cutting his ears off.

I can't understand what someone would get out of doing this. I would be quite happy to see them treated in a similar way.
Still at least the dog is still alive and will hopefully find a good home.
