If you are going to Doha then you won't be in Dubai, as that is the capital of Qatar.

Yep Reffro is right.. Doha is in Qatar not Dubai..

Just look out fo the MaccyD's that you see on the left of the runway as you land there.. Middle of the desert and there's a MaccyD's.. that was most bizarre the first time I flew in..

I had a friend who went to Dubai a couple of years back, they have some excellent deals on electronic goods especially car speakers If you are also up for a bit of haggling, dollars seem to go down well ??

If you're in Dubai there's loads of booze and loose women. Most of the desirables work for Emirates Airlines and they all live in a block of flats dubbed 'Tampax Towers'
