when it comes to rappin and freestylin, he's one of the best out there. He's cleaned up a lot, he's finally taking responsibility that comes along w/ his having a daughter, but he's still not clean as a decent human being.

I'm going to see him in Punchestown at the end of the month. If i had a deprived childhood and made millions crying about it, I would probably milk it for all it was worth as well

Funny enough, he's now coming across as a talented individual, extremely popular (except with his family) and the backing samples on his tracks are some of the best in the business.

I watched 8 Mile last night. Quite a good film, kinda changed my views on the bloke. The films meant to show his backgrounds and how he was recognised as a white rapper in a black neighbourhood..etc..etc. Its well worth a look.
IMHO he's not a genius, but he is good at what he does and has made alot of money from it..........good luck to the bloke!

Well, I kinda like Mr Mathers, but then I do kinda like rap anyway. My personal opinion is that he is making tunes that are controversial, no thing as bad publicity as they say. I would not say that I agree with the views expressed in his songs, however, how do we know whether he does, or whether it's just a ploy to sell more records?
8 mile was a rather good film IMHO, Yeah you could say it was very loosley a potrait of his life, and in a way it was. However, I liked it, and the music was good too, and the battles, well, even though they were pre-written, the timing of acting them out was excellent.

IMHO, the look and attitude is wearing thin nowadays, he needs to do a proper come back, not just assume he can ride on as he did a couple of years back.
I just don't share the same passion with his new album as I did with the "Trilogy" set - Antichrist Superstar, Mechanical Animals and Holywood.
