I was in a hotel reception the other day and suddenly there was a strange electronic alarm sound that seemed to surround the reception area. Turns out it was some bloke checking into the hotel and this was his mobiles ringtone. Is this one of these Polyphonic things or some other sort of phone? Makes my Nokia sound very 20th Century. It was the way that the ringtone seemed to come from everywhere and surround us - impressive technology, just wondering if anyone knows?
