Absolutely top notch! He really is the man at the moment, and his live show really lives up to the hype!

Shame that the fans (and I'm one) have opened themselves up for abuse with the locals. I work near the station, and it was a ****ing tip. Why people feel the need to use the floor when there's shedloads of bins around is beyond me.

Would have loved to have gone

Lightbulb

The crowd weren't the best behaved.

Whilst waiting for Eminem to come on a mexican wave started around the outside of the venue . . . then another . . . then one throwing bottles into the air . . . . then everyone started throwing bottles everywhere There were full bottles (plastic) flying everywhere and many, many people were hurt by them. No need for that sort of behaviour.

Then a couple of fires were started and a fire engine was eventually called at the end to put it out.

Apart from that it was a good day out.

Started pretty empty:

But soon filled up:

Couldn't get anywhere near the stage tho !! :

You should have stayed in my carpark it emties direct onto the main road and is clear of cars by 11.15. It also supplies all the drinks you need at bargain prices.

Question

How long does Eminem play for? (Last time I went to one of these started drinking at 12.00 gates opened at 3.00, concert started at 4.00, FB fell over in an unconcious drunken haze at 7.00 and the main event started at 8.00 - trying to avoid a repeat this time

The reviews said the Saturday gig was sh1te and everyone started skulking off well before the end. Totally upstaged by 50 cent, and the sound kept failing. These sorts of gigs are all mimed to tapes anyway. They flick a switch on the mic between numbers to go "live" and make off the cuff comments then turn it off once the number starts over the PA. Total con.

Anyway, what's the point of going there just to watch a big TV of the performer, 600 yds from the stage.

True, Sunday, no 50 cent, gutted. I basically waited from 12, concert should have started at 4pm but didn't start until about 7pm, probably down to the fact that 50 Cent didn't show, t0ssers.

Did everyone else get pissed off that Eminem and co did not know which city they were in? They all thought Milton Keynes was in London or something?!

Talking

That was absofekinlutely brilliant. Got right to the front of the general admission bit for Eminem and then got 'crowd surfed' across the front of the stage and out the side  Looking back at 80000 people jumping about in the mud was a spectacular sight.

Got back to the hotel at 1.00ish and started chatting to a couple of guys who were sitting in the bar. Their mates came and joined us and then a big bunch of screaming girlies tried to get into the hotel. Turns out we were drinking with Busted

And did you berate them for their utterly banal lyrics?

Chiark - by that point I couldn't even say banal lyrics (I wonder how many pints of Heineken were served on Friday. Based on the hangover I think I had about 50)

DJ - Now you come to mention it I think they had a grown up with them who got the drink in
