Angry

Arrrgh!!! Trying to sleep so that i will be alive for work tomorrow and there's a police helicopter circling above our house shining its lights in ours and neighbours' gardens. 1) its bloody noisey!! 2) a bit unnerving to think some mad fool could be hiding in our garden!

Its been here over 15mins, round and round

erm
do you live near me in gloucester perchance?

That muppet was pretty much overhead this morning when i was trying to watch 'Scarface' (top film ) couldnt hear bits of it because of the bloody chopper ( i had the french windows open as it was nice and cool)
p.s was still hovering about on and off gone 3am.

Thumbs down

Maybe they were looking for a burglar who might otherwise have broken into your house?
Or maybe they just don't like Al Pacino.

I'm sure they'll build sommat shat in place of it, they have with half the buildings in town - and they were nice old ones with lots of character.

Trouble is i live right next to a dodgy area and so we keep havin the chopper over us. Some1 was stabbed and shot to death 500yrds down the hill the other week

Hmm, complaining because the Police are out there doing their job and trying to catch a criminal. Nope sorry not much sympathy for you there, yes its unfortunate that your beauty sleep was disturbed, but I think getting a theiving toe-rag in custody comes a bit higher up the list of priorities.

Didnt bother me in the slightest-apart form the noise.
Missed some of the extreme language in the film.
Always tempting to run about the garden to see if they follow you with the light or not. But then you would get a load of police kicking the door down most likey...so not so wise... You can bet your *** if it was someone with misspaced number plates they would have been circling all nite looking for them.....
Priorities....

I was more concerened that someone was in our garden!! Surely it would be more efficient and they wouldn't have to keep circling, if they used the IR stuff they always show on Police Camera Action, rather than the large flashlight..

Probably after a speeding motorist whole parked up and went into a house.

LOL, haven't they got heat sensitive cameras as well?

They can see yer "hotspots".

This pisses me off as well, we have a Police chopper that parks about 1/4 mile away and always seem to go out for a bit of a flyabout at 1-2 a.m. every morning.

I thought these things cost about £2000 an hour to keep airbourne so how can they justify going up every night at the same time?

Probably giving the Chief Constable a lift home after a night in his club

Lightbulb

Might have been circling around emptying the chamberpot so he didn't have to do it back at base
