Netscape 4.7:
Suggest you resize your images before they are uploaded, e.g. the magnex one looks rather stretched.
Apart from that, in IE6 it looks really nice and slick. With some more images I am sure the whole thing will come together.
Edited to say - I am the only person in the world using Nestcrapo 4.7 as it really is a sod to cross code for!

Online car parts and accessories store I made for a friend's company.
I was given the logo (which I re-drew) and a photo of the car in the top left. The rest I've done from scratch.
Totally bespoke, I didn't even take code from anything I'd done before. Took me about a year of my spare time (most nights and weekends). Never agian!!
There's not a huge number of products on there yet, mass addition happening over the next few days.
- Full secure online shopping.
- Categorised and subcategorised product catalog.
- Fully searchable with filtering options, price ranges, and sortable results.
- Model filter - only show products applicable to your car.
- Email notification of change in order status.
- Product reviews and ratings.
For the techy peeps:
- Fully bespoke sytem hand coded in ASP (VBScript).
- SQL Server backend.
- Site configuration stored in database - instantly updatable.
- 100% functional in any browser, no javascript used for essential functions.
- Fully updatable product catalogue.
- Intelligent partial matching and plural eliminating search with logged results.
- Shopping trend and search pattern logging and reports.
- Liquid layout dynamically resizes for 800x600 to infinate resolution.
- Image upload and management facility.
- Client (JS) and server side form validation.
- Session variable-less shopping car system.
- 100% W3C valid HTML 4.01 Transitional.
- 100% W3C valid CSS2.
- Spam proof email addresses.

Firstly well done for putting all the time into it etc
Secondly... and this is honestly meant to be constructive, so please don't go and hang yourself after a years hard work
The design side of thigs is a bit ropey and little thought has gone into use of co-ordinating fonts and layout etc. It's all just a bit cramped and messy IMHO. It's clear that your technical knowledge is well up there... but it may be worth speaking to someone who has alot of knowledge of web-design. Apoogies if this causes offence
The site gives off a bit of a cheap feel that I can only equate to seeing Lexus rear light clusters on a scoob and I swear I am only trying to help.
A year is a long time to put into this so it may be worth simplifying things a wee bit and giving it a slightly less cluttered appearance....
Not meaning to dismiss your hard work and please take all of the above constructively and remember that it's only my opinion.
Cheers

Netscape 4 has no CSS support, so it'll be all over the place. It should be perfectly possible to locate and order something though.
SiPie, can you be a bit more specific? How it could be improved etc? Or show me some better examples?
I know there is quite a lot of info on there, but I think that's needed given the "exciting" nature of the product - clearly it wouldn't be appropriate for a site selling abstract art or designer furniture.
I'd be interested to see what you think of some other stuff I've done recently:
http://www.planwithus.co.uk
http://www.efpdirect.com/ (for the same company)
http://www.drysuitfactory.com/
http://www.diveride.com/pontus/

Eevn if you took one consistent theme through the web-site
ie. the background colour of the X - Factor logo or anything consistent. It's just all a bit jumbled, confused, with nothing to remember it by.
eg. this was Northampton Tyres which was the banner add that happened to be at the top of the page as I type
Can you see that they at least have an orange border frame which at least draws the eye and it is so simple and un-cluttered it makes navigation alot easier. Fonts are all the same but just different sizes and reversed out or whatever.
Very simple example but it was picked quickly at random...
Hope you get what I mean
Cheers

In fact, all of the linked pages look different to each other, and to the index page
