Bathe it with saline solution, or some salt disolved in warm water and maybe apply some antihistamine.

Otherwise he should be ok.

Glad to hear he's ok mate

The pup got stung on the **** a couple of days a go by a wasp

He's 4 months old today.

So what did he do? Let out a yelp turned around and totally minced the wasp with his paw

Job done, turned around and went back to raising hell

Have you stopped laughing at the poor dog now, as you said in the other thread? You must be the ultimate fan of Schadenfreude.

As long as their actually OK then there's nothing funnier than a dog playing up to injury.

Those big white collars from the vets to stop them scratching....poor love looked so sorry for himself.

Worked though - got at least twice as many treats as usual!!

My dog got stung by a bee last year and I had to rush her to the vet for an injection of steroids of she too would have died from the severe reaction, although my other dog eats bees and doesn't mind getting stung.

edited as i thought he had died, was sending my condolences you git!!!

PMSL >>Dogs often look embarrassed when photographed in front of shoddy DIY<<

He'll be fine mate - you cant rub antihistamine creams into dogs without shaving the Just means the swelling will last a bit longer.

Lost count of the amount of bee sting's I had as a kid in the country - never did me any harm!

D

ps and he is gorgeous - boxers are FUN.
