Its been recovered!!!! Well done Met Police and City of London Police!!!!
Found it this morning in Bethnel Green. No confirmation of what condition its in. They are phoning back this afternoon to update me. They are keeping it for a while for a full crime investigation, I told them they can keep it as long as they feking like if it helps catch the b@stards!!!!
Hahaha I haven't smiled this much in ages! Even if its fooked I still know no one is riding round on MY pride and enjoy!

See the Police do actually do other work apart from stopping speeding motorists 
Glad to hear that it has been recovered! I would hope that as it was taken in a van that any damage to it would be minimal! and that you get ti back soon.

Its in mint condition!!! WWWWWOOOOOOOO HHHHHHOOOOOOO police just called and they caught the bloke riding it! They chased after him in a Mondea 1.8 and he decided to stop, park it and run down the railway track. They chased him for ages on foot and eventually caught him **** he could have outdone them just in 2nd gear
They caught him because they had recovered a GSXR from the same area yesterday so they decided to go and wait where they recovered it from, and low and behold he came back today on my R1!!! What a fooking idiot
I am glad there is one born every minute Well done the police for actually bothering with my bike 
The only thing thats fooked is the ignition barrel and maybe the alarm and immobiliser which may just have been over ridden.
I'm off the the police station in Bethnel Green at 5.30 where I get so see my bike and make a statement. They said I could probably have it back tomorrow I'm gonna keep it in my bloody front room after this
I had such a miserable 4 days and now i'm fooking chuffed I can tell you!!!

Weh-Hey! Result and a good'un.
Check it over carefully for damage both internally and externally. My mate had a hell of a job convincing his insurance company that thieving scum fecked his engine on his XT500. He had had it rebuilt the previous year and had only done 150 miles or so (just used it for a bit of fun in the good weather, bike was 23 y/o). They thrashed it to death and fecked it. He did eventually get it sorted but it took itime and lot of effort on his part.

Well surely I can claim under warranty if there are any engine/mechanical issues with it as it has 2 years warranty on it?
I know physical damage will come out of my pocket and I hope it wont be too much.
Can't wait to check the bike over for myself, mileage etc, scratches etc and see what they have done to it. It was absolutely mint before they took it, not a mark on it so doubt it will be the same after being in a van and ridden about
