Must get my eyes tested I read :
and thought you'd said cows ! I was just trying to imagine the damage before my brain kicked into gear and I realised you'd be a lot more p!ssed off if you'd hit a member of the bovine family

Edited to say it must have been the references to tractors that started me thinking of things agricultural !![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

alcazar:
I live near a nature reserve, apparently known for its adders!! There was an image of a snake of some kind that got wrapped up in the CAM belt on a thread here somewhere, wasn’t a pretty sight.
blair:
probably would have noticed a cow mate
.. badgers are the worst around here though, solid as a rock some of them and too small to notice till you hit them.
Still pondering how the that little fella got into the engine bay, dont have a scoop (own a scooby sport) and the radiator vent would had just mashed him up, strange!

Poor little fella. Vaguely remember him swooping across the bonnet during a spirited drive some time ago and wondering where he went.
Must check fluid levels/open bonnet more often.

Not sure what you are trying to say there Slasha.
It gets used every day for everything so i don't really subscribe to the "spotless engine bay" school of motor maintainance![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
It's a tool not a jewel.

Redkop please explain why asking 'is it a tractor engine' is so offensive and not on topic? If that's the case you'd better start going round every single thread and clearing half the comments you muppet!!!

Redkop just explain why either of those questions was so offensive you felt you had to remove the post? Please also explain that when someone posts up a photo of something and someone asks a question relating to it how can it not be on topic?
After you realise you can't please remove yourself to the muppet show!!!

cliped a few crows lately on the local back roads, surprisingly they dont hear me coming along with the zorst ive got. First time ive had a small fella in the engine bay though, hopefully it'll be the last, cooked bird doesnt smell too good.
Just hoping the other wildlife, as in local adders, dont start taking an interest in the warm engine bay.

i once ran over a duck that was leading its ducklings across the road.
i knew i'd hit it so i turned round cos i felt so guilty about the little ones i was gonna take them home but couldnt find them when i got back.
