Chocolate on seat - how best to get it off?

A grateful passenger has just rubbed loads of chocolate into my passenger seat - cheapo fabric kind. It's been rubbed in pretty good and is resisting first attempts to clean it.
Does anyone have any tips on how best to deal with this one? The position and colour of the stain looks very unappealing to future passengers (despite my assurances that it isn't what they think it is!) so has to be fixed soon!

I would be careful of freezing it with dry ice, and especially liquid nitrogen! You will make the fabric very brittle and may end up with a hole in the seat for your troubles!
Warm water, mild detergent and some patience is probably the best way....
