![Question](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/icons/icon5.gif)
OK, I'm getting fed up with this now, married women love me, single women don't, what's it all about?![Confused](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/confused.gif)
![Frown](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)
It's been going on for long enough now but after being at a wedding at the weekend I'm sick of it! I always get on great with them, this weekend being no different, chatting and dancing with loads of them, they all said I looked really nice in my suit (Best man), they said I was lovely and should have no bother pulling...I mention that I've seen someone I like, the married women and my mates agree and thinks she likes me, then **** all, nadda!
I can get along with single women, I don't completely repel them, not yet anyway but I always struggle with phase II
What's going on, what am doing different?
Don't let me die a sad lonely old single man, please![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Perhaps it's because the relationships you have with the married women are totally different to the ones you have/want to have with the single women. You're just a friend to the married women, and that's fine, but when it comes to the single women it's a whole different ball game - you want something more. What works in the friendships with the married women isn't going to work when you're after a single girl. You might also subconsciously act differently around them too.
Don't let it worry you being single either; it's a pretty good life in my opinion.

I'd be worried if I was you mate. Think you are going to end up single, sad & lonely.![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
On the plus side no one to nag when you spend more on the car, eat pizza off your stomach while watching schlock action movies, drink beer & burp as loudly as you want, sod all this toilet seat up or down - just pee on the floor, no worries about being freshly shaven or even clean, fart as much as you want in bed, letch at women in public etc etc.
You would'nt know I've been married for 13 years would you![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Mind you Bob, if you can't do all the above stated by Alas when you are married then you've married the wrong girl anyway.
Apart from the being clean remark. That has to be a must for your own standards.
It'll work out when the time comes, don't worry.

Bob,
I have exactly the same trouble, I get on great with all my mates wives and girlfriends, btu single girls just think I'm some sort of perv, I reckon it's down to the married ones being 'safe' for me to talk to, but the single ones are a threat to the way I live my life, and without knowing, I reckon I must give off some sort of different feel to them, Hell, I dunno, maybe I shouldn't keep my trousers round my ankles eh!!
Ron..
ps, If you find a place where guy's like us can get lucky, for gods sake let me know where!

It's probably because you're trying too hard Bob ![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
You know you're not going to get anywhere with the attached ones so you don't try to impress.
Try pretending the single ones are married

I'm rapidly starting to think women are all fooked up metalists!
One minute you have to be all nice to em and what have you, then the next you're trying too hard...my sis in law said the same thing![Confused](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/confused.gif)

How about speed dating? That surely takes away some of the pressure as everyone's there for the same reason. If you don't get on with someone, then it's only 3 minutes of awkward silence. I reckon it could be quite a good laugh.

agree with TVRGary.
Girls love a guy who is funny...but you also have to be a bit cheeky as well. Be a bit rude - not filthy or **** stylee - but just make a few suggestive jokes. Gets me every time.
get that mix right and you cant go wrong mate. Trust me

There's a guy at work who has a real nack when it comes to women.
There's no secret he just treats them well, always shows an interest in what THEY are doing, not boasting about what HE'S been up to,is also a laugh, never talks down to them, and is also realistic about himself. He can be cheeky but only in a fun way,and although he's confident he aint in love with himself.
He just makes them feel important, its a real lesson watching him.

I'm not sure it's that easy to completely change your character so that you become a b@stard instead of a nice guy. I'd have thought that most people will see through that anyway, and even if you do get someone that way, is she really going to be the type of person you want? Fair enough, you can take some pointers and use those to 'play the game' a little, but why be someone that you're not? The guys that are b@stards usually have some sort of deep rooted problem anyway - you have to rise above them.
I think that being cool, calm and collected is a pretty good approach to it - you don't want to be desperate in any way as that can be a real turn off. By doing that, it also means you're not getting so stressed out about it, and if it doesn't work then c'est la vie - move on to the next one. It makes it easier to deal with emotionally.
As paulr said about his friend, treat women with respect and be interested in what they have to say. Be cool and stay a little bit mysterious and aloof - keep things back. Be confident, and always make sure you're well turned out.
At the end of the day though, I'm single, so what the hell do I know?!!
