Anyone got any recomendations for printing digital pictures ... i reckon it's got to be cheaper to send them to a factory if you are doing bulk holiday snaps.

I know someone that's used www.photobox.co.uk for getting digital pictures printed. The results were impressive although a lot does depend on the quality of the digital camera etc.

Seriously, boots are fantastic.
They take the images off your card while you wait, then you can have your pics in a hour or so (while you have a couple of pints) top quality and cheap as the proverbial!!!!

We've just had our first lot printed at Boots - I think they may still have an offer where 50+ images on one card/medium will be printed in 24 hours for 10p per print.
Out of 64 there were 7 where they'd printed them landscape instead of portrait (or was it the other way round?). Once we'd spotted that we took them back & they re-did them free in an hour.
Ours were taken on a 2m Nikon & printed in 6x4.

bloody excellent service. 19p a pic (6x4.5), website dead easy to use, cropping on website very slick and delivered next morning after ordering at 3pm yesterday.

We used Kwik Film, went for gloss with a white border, done on Agfa paper,120 pics at 6 x 4 for £17.99, not overly impressed but i think that is me, see thread Canon Ixus III
What paper do Boots,Jessops and photobox use and do they offer white borders??
Cheers
