Want to know about any problems buying a property in Turkey...heard some story about whan they join Europe I could be landed with a huge tax bill when selling..something to do with fixing the value?????

No idea, but if I buy a place in the UK now and sell it in 3 yrs I don't pay UK CGT, as I will have been out for 5 full tax years and thus not resident.
