Is it possible to unlock a Sony/Ericsson T-Mobile phone to work on vodafone?

Don't see why not (what phone have you got), I have just unlocked my Sony Ericsson T68i (Orange) to sell to someone so they could use a Vodafone sim. I used these people you get a cable, some software and one credit to use to unlock the phone, the only problem I had was the wrong version of the software but they were quick to reply to e-mails and sent me the correct version. This way you don't have to send it off anywhere, I'm sure there are lots of genuine places but I'd only go off a reccomendation of someone I know and didn't know anyone !

take it to your local market - they charge about a £10 and do it while you wait, takes about 2 min.

have you tried ebay? there's several people that can do unlocking remotely for certain phones

Cheers guys, i think its only certain nokias that can be unlocked remotely. Although if any1 knows if the T68i can be done remotely, id love to know
