There is no way they can call their muck coffee...why is it that they get away with serving such frothy watery coffee??? The food is Krap and its so expensive. "Pret a manger"(spelling) owned by mcdonalds walks all over them...

Agreed. The coffee is just awful. I just don't get how coffee can be so...incredible (is the word that springs to mind) in say, Italy and how here it's just dreadful.
And Before someone mentions Bar Italia on Compton St Soho I've also had plenty of rancid cups of coffee from there.
How can you get a good coffee in this country?

Bar Italia is also rubbish...one of the worst tourist trendy places around. Costs a bloody fortune.. For a good cup of coffee try "Masion B" on Holland park road.
But for loads of single girls try Starbucks in charing cross road branch of "Borders"

Best coffee I've had was at the British Grand Prix this year. We blagged our way into the Ferrari motor home. They served us some fantastic Italian espresso that you could almost stand your spoon up in

We haven't spent YEARS perfecting the art of extracting the maximum amount of cash from the punters for the minimum in return for nothing you know....

Luke,
Why not report them then? If what they are selling differs from what is described then it contravenes the sale of goods act, might cost abit to prove it though! Tell you what the coffee at Wild Bean cafes in BP connect stations is pretty pukka, I always have mine black and its great!

I think americans are afraid of caffeine. last time i was there a guy offered to make me a coffee, and got out a packet of coffee beans - great, I thought, freshly made coffee. He put about half a dozen
beans into the grinder and used this to make two mugs of coffee... it was undrinkable.
