Anyone carry one of these in his or her car? Any professional fire fighters here?

I'm after a recommendation, i.e. what size and what contents to look at (foam, powder etc).

Are these worth having or are they so small as to be useless?

Comments from those who slagged off the firemen during their pay strikes are also welcome!

i carry the larger 1.75 litre one in my car, never had to use yet though luckily, although i did have a small electrical fire at york dragway once when the battery live earthed itself out, luckily had small bottle of water and put it out, but carry that now though.

Somewhere like Halfords will sell fire extinguishers that are suitable for cars.

Personally, I would prefer a fire fighter in my car than a fire extinguisher.
