Question

Because I'm trying to ring someone in Tokyo and I keep getting a certain tone (for the last 15 mins or so)...

It's a short medium pitched beep which is repeated, bit like our engaged tone but faster....

Any ideas???

Hello

It's a strange beeping noise. And if it's a mobile and the phone is out of range someone Japanese tells you. Well, I assume they are telling me that. I guess they could be saying something quite rude...

Steve (who spent this evening lost on the subway is Tokyo!)

Talking

Normally, The busy tone means youre phone has no signal. If the reciever has no signal ......you get the jap women telling you so!!
