Surely just 'trick' camera angles? Oh, and clever editing?

No, it is for real and mighty impressive too. I've seen it done in the flesh and it is mind boggling.

Cheers

LOL, they're all 'Frenchies'. Kind of ties in with their climbing heritage. Amazing agility, beats skateboarding IMO.

Damn. Shame it was all so 'staged' in the end. Could have been presented so much better than that.

LOL - it's true though. You don't get any sense of them 'being there' and 'doing it'. It's like a cheap video or an advertisment. Very French production values IMO.

but they said themselves, "it is all about the art of it," so they have shot it in an arty farty fashion.

"You don't get any sense of him 'being there' and 'doing it'."

Is this what Auntie Buck says about you and sex??

It was all style at the expense of content. Typically Gaelic

I thought that the rehersal stuff was awesome though.

was worth watching , and the guys deserve real credit for the stuff they do...but IMHO , I work in TV & Films and if that was shot over 3 or 4 weeks then they would only have to do one or two jumps/runs a day each.. if it was done in a day or two I'd be more impressed... Still looked good tho

Kids everywhere will now start climbing all over buildings, and when they get asked why they're doing it, they'll say 'well, those guys on the tele did it' Just gives kids ideas if you ask me, but, it was good, but I kinda thought that the onlookers might think that they'd just robbed somewhere, and where trying to get away!!

RON, would you rather they were jumping about buildings improving their co-ordination, strength, flexibility and agility or robbing and mugging grannys?

SB, I can see you thinking that way when they climb over your house, breaking roof tiles and stuff at the same time, oh, and then they fall off of the roof, and sue YOU for allowing them to do it, just cos you haven't got a sign saying NO CLIMBING!!

A fair point also - what a sad world we live in. When the guys were freestyling I couldn't help but think that NOBODY could catch them if they had just nicked something

Maybe they are just practising for the fastest exit from any military confrontation.

Could be a whole new breed of surrender monkeys.

I found the practice footage much more interesting than the "landmark" shots (although they were well done).

There was a lot of surface cleaning done on some of the shots to ensure a dry clean surface. Can you imagine plod trying to chase them!!!

Music could have been a bit better and they did drag it out a bit. But one of the best programmes on tv for ages.

Sick and tired of watching all the usual krap on tv...
