For encouraging Australia to bring out Australian Idol. [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]
I don;t know who is worse, the idiots who thought up the idea or the idiots over here who thought it would be a good idea to introduce it onto the TV in Australia.
Either way I can't bloomin' escape it.

Why can't they spend that money on buying the more recent episodes of Casualty, Holby City and dare I say it....The Bill??????!!!!
But no, no they decide to torture me with tripe. [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]
If anyone wants a spoiler on Neighbours or Home and Away..........TOUGH, I will not lower myself to watch that tripe.
It is just not "hip" to watch those two in Aus.

No, we get the Aussie equivelant of him, can't remember his name because I refuse to watch it. Except in the early stages where I could snigger at crap attempts.
Should be renamed "How to make a Pop Fool out of yourself." Some people were doing too much of a porfessional job at it aswell.
We have cable which means we get UKTV and other partially decent channels hence why I can watch Casualty, Red Dwarf and all that lot. If I was stuck with the terrestial channels I would slit my throat!!!!
Could do with a good dose of Douglas Adams though.

well the "idiots" who thought it up are multimillionaires, the "idiots" who bring it to Oz do so for more viewing figures and the "idiots" who watch it enjoy it.
one could argue the real idiots are those who dont need to watch but still allow it to upset them?

Chelle, trust me, you have not been witness to American or even worse, Canadian idol, OMG! Why oh why o why? Makes my flesh creep.
But hey ho, it's all entertainyment aint it? Maybe they should play reruns of this to prisioners as punishment for their crimes.

Talking of Prisoner - there are re-runs of Prisoner Cell Block H on TV - now that was cringeworthy program.
Although I am trying to get hold of the DVD collection of the Prisoner - you know the one....I am not a number?

If you don't like it don't watch it, simple really. Could sit here and moan about all the crap that our tv buys from Australia, ie Neighbours and other such pointless drivel. That's not to say I'd prefer UK tv stations to produce their own pointless drivel soaps.
