Ha ha, pat on the back for me

Double parked yesteday to pop into the shop for a minute and as I got out the car some old codger in a Fiat reverses straight into a mondeo scraping the rear bumper fairly badly.

He completely ignores this and parks his car any way, I point out what he has done and he assures me that he will be waiting for the owner of the Mondeo.

Ah ah me thinks, and I remember the car and registration anyway.

Guess what 5 mins later and he is nowhere to be seen, no note etc.
The Mondeo was parked in a private bay for the Halifax, so in I go, find the owner (the Halifax Branch Manager - new cheap mortage), explain what has happened and give him all the details.

It's a relly good feeling to catch someone doing this sort of thing and I hope the new bumper cost a fecking fortune.
