I have finally managed to grow my hair all one length after years of having layered hair. The only problem after drying, it goes really frizzy. Its ok after using straightners but I was wondering if anyone has found a good anti-frizz range. I have been using Friz-ease but I think my hair has got used to that one!!.

Many thanks

Tracey

LOL@ what MY is the hair. Classic.

No idea what to try, um split end treatment with a leave in conditioner? That could calm the frizz down.
How often do you get your hair serviced, I mean cut?

You should ask this question on the Audi TT forum as they are all hair dressers..

Use a towel to dry your hair instead of a balloon.

mmmmmm, So its ok for your blokes to ask questions about what clothes to wear on here then is it and get some half intelligent answers!!!.
I once read a question about what shoes should this guy wear with jeans these days and cant recall one sarcastic answer. Oh well i'll go ask some one else.

Cool

I can back up Luke's post about the Schwarzkopf stuff, I used that and it was good, I just didn't like the smell too much.

Atm I use Michael O'Rourke Soytri-wheat shampoo, conditioner and leave in conditioner. These are good according to the hair salon for fine and layered hair like mine.
In the sun, mine goes a tad brittle even with continuous lopping every 6 weeks or so. I use the Schwarzkopf Split Ends Treatment, plus leave in shine treatment whilst the hair is wet. Then finish off with a blast of Schwarzkopf hair spray flexible hold.

Most days though I just rely on the leave in conditioner and just let my hair dry normally.

Stop using the straightening irons - they are making the problems worse. Straightenen irons sap the natural oil out of the hair causing it to dry out and frizz.

If you have natural wavy/curly hair and you are trying to straighten it, forget it. Not matter how much products you use, it will also revert back to its natural state eventually. The only way to straighten it is to have it done professionally - even then the results are a bit suspect.

Make the most of the hair you have, don't try and change it. I should know - I have natural curly hair and I gave up trying to change it years ago. Try curl friends - more than serum.

One old-fashioned way is to iron it! Get some greaseproof paper - lay it over your hair and then just iron it. Doesn't take out any natural oils then.

I have the same problem.

anyone see that episode of Friends with Monicas hair in the heat????

well thats MY hair. Its a nightmare and i cant seem to find anything that controls it without making it look greasy as ****.

At the moment im using Aussie shampoo for dry and damaged hair followed by leave in conditioner.

makes my hair much less static and fuzzy and it smells just like bubblegum....mmmmmmmmm.

Sounds like your hair is just really dry..probably from using hair products and straighteners. Just try using intensive conditioners for dry/damaged hair for a bit and see if they help.

god knows why my hairs like this tho. i dont use any hair styling products and very rarely hair dry my hair!?!?!?!?!

Why anyone wants straight hair is beyond me, I hate it! It's always the same - people with curly hair want straight hair and vice-versa

Thumbs up

I can't rate Sebastian Laminates products highly enough, they are fantastic but bloody expensive (worth every penny imho ). The Laminates Straightener (20 - 30 quid )is excellent and controls my mop of long curly hair brilliantly. After I've put that on I use the best product I've ever used in my life to control the frizz and flyaway bits, also by Sebastian it's from their Xtah range and is called Cy-Clone and is a totally weightless smoothing cream, it's feckin brilliant (20 - 30 quid ). The Curl Perfecting Polish is brilliant too for going curly

Other than that I use Tigi Bed Head for everyday stuff (cos it's cheaper than Sebastian ), the Ego Boost leave in conditioner is good, as is the Headrush spray on hair gloss and the Shine Junkie smoother cream is fabulous and smells gorgeous but it's not quite as good as the Sebastian Xtah Cy-clone.

I get all mine from the hairdressers but I have bought Sebastian on the internet before - I've never seen it in the shops as I think it's a salon only product. When my friend was in Hong Kong she got me some for a fraction of the price
