help in need of a good scanner and do they work 360 degres thanks.

depends what aerial you use, a discone is 360 degrees wheras a directional one is not.
these ones are all excellent handheld scanners....

I used to have a Yupiteru MVT-7000, at the time probably one of the best hand-held scanners. Those Alinco ones used to be a bitch to use. Talk about non-user friendly software.

I used to have an AOR AR8200 which I liked at the time
