We have an very nice reproduction dining table and chairs (4 chairs, 2 carvers) which we want to sell.
Given the price we paid for it, and what we'd want for it, eBay's not really any good for selling it (nobody's likely to spend over £2k on a table from eBay!).
So what's a good way to go about selling it? Anyone else done this?

Ebay i'd say give it a try.
What you will need to do however is put up some good quality pictures, plenty of them and a full description.
Also be patient and be prepared to relist it a few times. Finally be clear about delivery costs.
Alternatively local paper or local auction.
Ebay is not ideal for furniture, but i have seen some items sell around the 1K mark.
