The first part of my email address is a spanish town.
I keep getting spaniards adding me to their messenger and trying to talk to me, when they find out i am British they are accusing me of hacking into their mates account!
Argh.

seems an odd thing to do adding people to your messenger just because it's a town in your country

In Messenger, go Tools > Options > Privacy and you select that only people on your Allow List can message you. Couple of other options there too that might stop you getting hassled.
