I just checked. There is no "sent" items folder.
But you can save messages in your own folder or the archive folder or the Outbox.
The irritating thing with teh 8310 is that it only shows the "Messge Sent" confirmation for about 1 second, so if my attention is diverted...I keep forgetting if I actually Sent the text. So I do it again, then I wonder if it was sent sucessfully, so, I do it again.
My mates are quite used to receiving 3 of the same texts off me
