my fault but stopped off on a double yellow , no obstruction nothing plenty of space all round , 1 yard from hole in wall , while getting money out of bank, ticket produced,

actually had it printed and bagged before they reached the back of my car and plop on the windscreen, didn't make an issue was very quiet about it but what bar-stewards

walking away talking about tv last night,

talk about a stealth movement, and me £25 notes down

I took my car in for a set of new tyres, the "tyre fitter" fitted the tyres. If the tyre fitter didnt fit the tyres he wouldnt be doing his job.

I parked my car on double yellow lines, the "traffic warden" gave me a ticket. If the traffic warden didnt give me a ticket he would not have been doing his job.

Its ****, but at the end of the day its his job!

Dont give the ******* the oppertunity to do their jobs, then they would all be made redundant.

I've seen them do it.... they print out the ticket from a distance so you are less likely to spot them.... then they run past the car slapping it on the windscreen! cowards! [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]

I am not arguing, ( I am really) but i get a ticket and the works council van on the other side of the road doing the same as me but they are all in for their morning sarnies , but thats on the other side of the road and they must walk in pairs.

At the cashline for less than 3 minutes, 2 people in q in front of me.

Ticket is £50 or £25 if paid within 14 days,

Only reason ...... bloody halifax merger , closed my local branch and have to go to a bank of scotland up the road a bit

If you put a cover over you car when its parked, are they legally allowed to take it off, and if not where do they put the ticket - you cant illegally park a car cover LOL.

Would be good if you had scratched wings etc - could blame them for trying to remove the cover

They would not be allowed to touch it...but would probably call police..who would then divert 1/2 of the met to deal with the emergency...

many bikers put plastic bags over the plates and tax disc in London when parked up..

The units are normaly strapped to them.... So could be ABH.... But they start to flap if you get funky with them..and call the Police who come running big time...

best thing to do would be to drive slowly passed them and lob a petrol bomb at them..tThe heat might destroy the Chip with all the days tickets on it. Might also kill the warden.. But thats not realy a issue.

My Motorbike (often to be seen parked in Soho...) has a VERY dirty tax disk holder & the numberplate is on velcro...

I recommend this solution for a sane & stress free existence.

The pure joy last week of watching 3 traffic wardens crawl around it, scratching their heads was a delight
