Why wont my pc play this type of thing once I've downloaded it?

Using XP so have Windows Media Player, Flash etc etc etc

Should I be downloading an alternative?

Sorry if old hat, first time for me!

Player problems, most likely not the correct codec.

Try downloading Standard DivX codec (free). (underneath the table list).
