Watched one of those WW2 **** films yesterday (The Pianist). Kids caught a few minutes of it too. Speaking to the gf later after 2 of the kids had been somewhat brattish got us thinking so hence the Operation_Christmas_Child_Thread
Just wanted opinions on whether you'd let your kids watch the whole film so that they could put some perspective on how lucky they are?
Anyone recommend a not too violent film of this genre? Schindlers List? Or go for a documentary on it?

the pianist DVD has been sitting around the house for ages. i've been meaning to watch it but it's one of those movies that you'll need concentration to appreciate and understabnd it (my wife has watched it already and has given it 7 out of 10
).
