Question

One of my favourite beers is Kronenbourg 1664.
I've noticed that in France it's 5.9% alcohol, and over here it's brewed on license by Scottish and Newcastle, but is only 5%...............and at least 3 times the price:

Now we all know why it's dearer, but why is it weaker?

I did try e-mailing S&N, but have had no reply after 2 weeks......ignorant gits!

find their chief exec and guess his email

try:-

firstname.surname@
1stinitial+surname@
abreviatedfirstname.surname@

the key to a good letter of complaint is the target, not the content!

Prob weaker cos of duty etc....

Stella and competitors are only 5%-5.2%, so 5.9% would prob be deemed too strong for mainstream UK market....
