what a film just been to see it, talk about over the top takes violence to another level and still be amussing. if you think bad boys 2 was violent should see the carnage in this. cant wait for the second instalment

I really really enjoyed this film.
I think it was so hyper-violent for two reasons, one to get past the censors in a humourous kind of way, and also to make it very much like anime films.

I've just got back from seeing it now, I just can't see what all the fuss is about
OK, it's shot really well, as mentioned the black and white fight scene, then the bit where it goes blue and black was very cool! The music is good, I like how it flits about much the same as Pulp Fiction but....pfff, I dunno, I really can't form an opinion on it! My friends all thought it was sh*t, now I think that's a tad harsh but then I can't think of anything to defend it with. Maybe it will all come together in vol.2, I hope so because now I'm left thinking, what was the point?
Bad BoysII is still the film of the year for me

don't take the missus would be my advice
It depends on the missus in question. I booked the tickets to see this film and I enjoyed it more than my bf.

I took the misses
She turned away a few times but generally watched most of the films.
I had goosebumps seeing the trailor for Texas chainsaw, that scares the living hell out of me

I took my mum to see it!
The best part is that she enjoyed it
I do agree it is a great film, in a totally over the top orgy of violence kinda way.
The Best parts are the little bits that film geeks like me notice. Like Uma Thurman wearing the same jumpsuit that Bruce lee wore, and the obiviously fake airliner that was done that way to take the ****.
Great film, first bit was the most shocking by far though, you just dont see it coming!
astraboy.

Top notch film.
Roll on Vol 2 in February. Nice money spinning touch that... come Feb, we'll be out snapping up the DVD for a reminder before hitting the cinema for the next installation.

Saw this last night and really enjoyed it - something different, as you would expect from a Tarrantino film.
And the best bit?
"Do you want to penetrate me?"
...Hell yeah! Hubba hubba
