Undercover police
#1
was coming from a pool match last night at about 11:30pm and dropping my m8 off at park campus northampton when about halfway across town i came to a set of lights, and i noticed a car in the other lane stop behind me in there lane.. i thought strange. and instantly guessed correctly it was undercover police and when the pulled up to the lights there big black jackets and radios gave it away so i proceeded to take them on the scenic route through northampton back to the uni. got into the car park stopped opened my window and waited for them to pull up besides me they did the usual check and were fine about it. I guess they thought cause i was out in a high powered car late @ night i was out "racing" or something. they shouldn't put use subura drivers in the same basket as the nova boys but i think they just wanted to see my lovely car

To be honest, this sort of thing makes me feel a little better, knowing that the police actually notice scoobs on the road at night... If my baby ever gets stolen, I just hope the local bobbies are as vigilant as they were in Northampton

Give them a break FFS!!!
What if you HAD had your car stolen.. and they found it for you... and knicked the buggers as well.. then you'd treat them with a bit more respect! They follow you to where you stop so if you are a theif they dont get involved in a mad and dangerous chase through town and residential areas

"Give them a break" my ****!
thats just the point, if his car had been stolen they would not of been within 4 miles of it LOL!!!
I had my house broken into, I rang them at 9.30pm on Friday night, when did anybody turn up........ 11.15am Sunday morning
and unfortunately thats the rule not the exception
on my time on this planet I have had my house broken into, my car broken into 3 times, a friend badly beaten on a night out and never once has any of this been remotely sorted out, and doubt they bothered
However, I have been done twice for speeding, and so has my wife wow we can all sleep better tonight

I believe you will find that a number of police people 9oh so politically correct) feel the same about most when it comes to solving crime. Un resourced and out teched by the common thief it's a difficult job.
As for being pulled, it's part and parcel of having a nice car. It's much easier to tail a scooby with a huge wing than a run of the mill mondeo.
hence most not time 'work' is completed in normal cars (most thieves will put a radio mast on so the old bill think they are mini cabs).
