Talking

Anyone who has clear skies and missed last night's display should keep an eye out tonight, it looks like it might kick off a bit later but indications are that we might be getting into another magnetic storm thingme and that there might be more displays of the northern lights this evening. It isn't looking as strong as last night and so might only feature in the more northerly parts but if you have dark skies and no clouds then it is worth keeping an eye to the north.

pi$$ing down here. How far north are you? They said that the activity on the Sun would make for a spectacular display.

Red face

can't see bugger all here down here weathers too sh*te to see anything, yeah the reason why we can see th lights is due to really big explosions on the suns surface, supposedly will cause some trouble to tv's and any other communications devices within the next couple of days.

Grockles are never at home, that's the trouble with them.

It looks like there was a huge spike this evening, last evening the spike of incoming bad rays was said to be the biggest in 30 years, tonight's effort was twice as large as that. I am amazed we haven't seen trouble with power supplies and communications.

Unfortunately it's heavily overcast here and so we're seeing nothing in terms of weird happenings in the sky. If you haven't taken a look then tonight is probably your best chance in a long time so get outside and see if there is a break in the clouds. Look north, hope for the best.

Thanks for the weather report Steve, the more rain on Dartmoor the better at the moment and maybe our well will fill up again, its been dry for over 2 months. Its all the Grockle's fault anyway, they use all the water up!
