just got a N.I.P. through the post from rally weekend - thanks boys!!! - do the snooper dectectors/laser jammers etc help in dectecting mobile camera vans or is it a case of becoming the tortoise rather than the hare!???

 

sadly i guess you have answered your own question.
Snoopers etc will help wake you up but you have to be on the ball all the time.I was lucky drivers coming down the vale of neath flashed me to warn me of the pig van skulking in the layby...but i have to say i had been well warned on this site they would be about.

in cardiff at 5am doing 47 in a 30. I know rules are rules but there wasn't another car in site and i was on a 3 lane road - not the most dangerous bit of drving i saw that weekend!

 

jammer will overcome nasty vans in the main thou asleep or otherwise

I know jammers 'scatter' the beam from rader guns - does the same happen for camera vans????

 

got yer terms slightly wrong there most vans are laser as i recall & laser jammer does send signal back to confuse it radar jammers are 100% illegal thou & no point radars are easily beaten with detectors etc http://www.ukspeedtraps.co.uk/ is good for all round info

yes & no yes i got 2 of them no as i havent got car im guna fit em on yet so cant say from experiamce but other reports seem to suggest yay
