I know that all businesses have a standard classification code attributed to them according to the type of business they are in.
Can anyone point me in right direction for finding this information on-line. I am trying to search out for as many companies in a particular category within x miles of home.
Cheers SN'ers

Take a look at MarketDirect
Allows you to generate lists of prospective business by SIC as well as many other criteria.
There is a full list of 87 SIC codes after you have clicked launch MarketDirect and then clikc on Line of Business
Cheers
