The verdict in the Car of the Year competition is not due until Tuesday, but Smart has already been awarded the honours in another, albeit more specialised, contest: gay car of the year. Club Auto Rainbow, the French organisation which has taken it upon itself to organise the vote, awarded this year's title to the Smart roadster, pictured right in London's Old Compton Street. Later this week a British survey by the website outuk.com will also name Smart as the favourite gay car here. So is the company pleased, or does it worry that the accolade will put off some buyers?
"It's quite flattering," says Sam Bridger, head of marketing for Smart UK. "Gays have an eye for design. But this is not a cynical attempt to tap into the pink pound." The company has done some promotional work at the Gay Pride festival in London, but says the gay community is not being targeted.

lol its the only place that sells "Oldarki" on draught my favourite basque beer. Also they seem to play the best disco/house tunes this side of san sebastian.
Nice guys and very friendly, they don't even mind me being in there with my girlfriend. Perhaps they are hoping I bat for both sides? Well if I did I'd be straight in there mate.

Only ever been in 1 gay bar, I thought all the gags were just wind ups - but there was a bloke playing pool that had the **** cut out of his leather pants so his cheeks could poke through.

tee-hee it's called "la Folies" and is a great little bar.
If you want to try a real dodgy gay bar then try "cockring" in Amsterdam. I went on a stag do to the 'dam and fooled some of the more homophobic guys into going in. What they saw in the back room has haunted them for years

I believe the comment made reference to homosexuals 'weird sexual past times'. Now, that sounds as though you do not aprove of homosexuality and as thus it could be seen as a homophobic comment.

The point RedKop is trying to make is you have recived a public warning from the webmaster for contravining the rules, you have done so again, hence the post was edited. ok not for posting a picture, but for breaking the T&C's.
If you can't accept this, please leave.

I'm a long standing member of this community who values the usefulness of ScoobyNet, and has unfortunatley seen a massive decline in community spirit and thread content (and spelling lol) over the past year or so, I am basically fed up with comeplete idiots coming on here and spouting off and getting all upset when their posts are moderated as they break the terms and conditions they ageeed to when they joined up.

So where were the mods on this one then?
Seems to me like its ok to show a link to a Blow Job yet mention something a bit anti-gay and look out even if you are representative of the majority of this country.
