Thumbs up

Should he or shouldn't he make an issue of this ???

Ok, my nephew has just passed his driving test on the 4th attempt yes 4th attempt, on the 3 previous failures he had a max of 7 minor failure points, my understanding is that u can have upto 15 minor's, may be wrong on this,

well his driving instructor after the 2nd failure told him to cut down on his lesson's as there wasn't anything more he could teach him, as his driving std was very good & seems pointless wasting his cash, on the 3rd failure his instructor is now getting a bit concerned with the examiner (same examiner for all 3 tests) so on his 4th (yep he got the same one again)the instructor sat in the back of the car during his test, well at the end he got 10 minor failure points this time but the examiner PASSED him.
Question, if he got 10 points this time and passed why didn't he pass before ??
(on 2nd test he pulled away from roundabout in 2nd nearly stalling it)

Is it worth him making a complaint to the driving std's agency rgds the examiner ? or let it go as he's happy as larry now he's passed

You can only have 5 minors on each section. It may well be he had 5 in one section on the other goes and then on this last one a higher total, but more spread across the sections.

Question

My eldest just failed his first test today.
I looked at the fail sheet, and it states:
For a pass, there must be:

NO serious faults,
NO dangerous faults,
An accumulation of driving faults, (a less serious fault), may result in failure.

It doesn't tell me anywhere how many will result in failure.
My lad got done for not looking properly while reversing round a corner.
He was given his next test on FEB 17th

I've managed to get it forward to 22 Dec now though, and still trying.
