He got a 2yr conditional discharge yesterday after being found guilty of defrauding an insurance company of £30,000.
Judge Samuel Wiggs told the court Ingram was a man who had already been severely punished as he had lost out financially and was on the brink of bankruptcy.
Ingram, who was forced to resign his army commission in August this year, appeared to be on the verge of tears as the sentence was delivered.
Tears of joy I would imagine.
Chip.

It was hardly the crime of the century, he failed to disclose a previous claim on his house insurance and when he got broken into they paid out and then subsequently wanted their money back.
If they hadn't paid out they'd have simply rejected his claim.
I wonder if he hadn't been who he is, would they have investigated so thouroughly?
