£200 here. Seems expensive, but I don't EVER pay for mobile phones. G/F gets a free upgrade annually, I adopt her old one. Paid £13 for PAYG sim card at boot sale. Leave the mobile snobbery ("Embarrassed by your mobile?", "No, **** OFF, ****!") to the young and impressionable.

Go for a Sharp GX10 or a Samsung T100.

I know someone who is selling a GX10 for £175 brand new - add an O2 PAYG sim for £9.99 and youve got 300 free texts / WAP minutes a month

Thanks all!!

Anyone know if it comes with a charger?

This amazes me, 10 years ago phones were cheaper than this AND had free hands free, free car adaptors, free chargers, free cases

I thought they would have got cheaper?

I would have thought you'll get a mains charger, possibly a car charger, possibly some free fascias, a case perhaps and a personal hands free which is worth w@nk (the pers handsfree that is).

I have a lovely spv for sale at £100 ???

Wink

Technology has moved on, you don't have to worry about your string going slack or splitting your cup these days.

...the network operators are subsidising the handsets less than they used to.

they are 199.99 at your local Orange shop

and you get a free text saver, which gives you 5 pounds of credit, and 5 free text messages everyday for a year.

she can keep her number and give her 10pounds credit, and 10 ponds more credit if she trades her old phone in.

so i make that 180.00

why not buy an over-priced one? It would be an ideal opportunity to rub our faces in your huge salary again!
