Question

Guys,

I am sure this has been done before, but a colleague of mine is making a journey on roads he does not know and wants to see on the net where he might come across speed cameras.

Any one know where to look.?

Cheers

Geoff

Careful with that link - this is what they say on thier site:

"We therefore very much regret that the information on our speed camera pages will no longer be updated as a matter of course, and we can no longer accept updates."

OK it's gonna cost you 400 notes or so (put that against the cost of a couple of speeding fines and the incresed insurance), but a Road Angel or other GPS device that provides download facilities is the way to go. Check out www.blackspot.co.uk.

alternatively, you could tell your mate to pay attention when he's driving somewhere unknown?

Its a long shot but it might just work.....

Geoff , Still keep my eyes peeled when I'm out and about the 'Dengie' and Maldon but I don't tend to see too many other Scoobs this time of year as it always seems to be so bloody dark when I'm driving now days

Cool

Dave,

You are corect there. Problems, tell me about it, it is a real nightmare at present.

Just can't justify extra miles and petrol etc, when I have already paid for my ticket. Am seriously considering small run about and driviing when my season ticket comes for renewal.

Cheers

Try http://www.pocketgps.co.uk/uksafetycameras.php

They have a list of camera locations that can be loaded into PC Mapping software eg. AutoRoute.

I use them in my StreetPilot GPS out on the road.
