Friend of mine has a Seat Arosa which was due a 12month/10k mile service which is being done on Monday - however shes 'just noticed' its on 12k miles.
Has this oversight just invalidated her warranty - I said I'm pretty sure it has unless she gets it clocked (I mean 'corrected
) back 2k and then forward 2k after the service

I took my car in for repair at a certain main dealers. The car would not run properly, I had it six weeks, and its only two years old.I got NO service history at all with it, the service book was missing. I went to pick the car up, credit card 'in hand' to be told, "the high pressure fuel regulator was faulty" handed me my keys, and thanked me for my custom.I thought I'd have to pay up for it, having no service records etc. but no quarms, all done under warranty. Maybe I was lucky, or jammy?
but I expected them to ask to see the stamps in the service log book. Not at all.
