Nice one!

Can't argue with the price -- Glenfiddich isn't a favourite but at 8 quid I'll get some nice whisky macs out of it

I recently paid £10 for 1 litre although that was in duty free in Norway.

blerghhh

I remember a mate of mine came round one new year and becasue he had hooked up with some scots during the year had a newly found taste for whiskey!!!

so i duly let him loose on the bottle in our cupboard,

he drank approx one third during the evening, went green filled the sink with puke and killed the party stone cold.....

he then went to puke over the settee..........

he never drank whiskey again...

i dont mind the odd drop in a cup of coffee when fishing but as drinks go..........blahhhhhh
taste the peaty aromas .....no its old teabags dunked in vodka

barcardi any day

Paul Habgood: 12 y/o 75cl I don’t think so, bit of a mistake I think, the same offer at our coop is only on the 35cl bottle

About a £4.50 discount on that size.

I second Gib for cheap booze. My old man had his boat out there last year and we stocked it to the hilt with Gordons gin on special offer..... 4 quid for a litre!!!

To HM customs: Obviously we drunk it all on the way back!

They didn't seem to have any decent malts though, which was a shame.

How about this one from my pals old man?
http://www.whiskyprices.com/mac46info.htm

You really should see the collection of whiskys he has in the house, mainly "managers drams" but like I said I cant stand the stuff! Btw, the reason behind the Buccaneer stuff is he has one on the forecourt of the garage,

Usual price at the coop £24.99 for £ 7.99 per bottle I don’t think this offer ever existed

Paul you must have been halfway thought that bottle when you posted this
What hope have we got for meaningful moderation on this BBS.

Paul Habgood:

They handed over the 75cl bottles not the 35cl's
You should take them back, I know I would, and I would drink to that if I had a bottle, our coop is run by kids, so it would not surprise me they could get it wrong.

Quick get down there again and bulk purchase and we can do a group buy, you will make a killing.

£24.99 for a £7.99 NOW THAT’S WHAT I CALL A BARGIN!

Paul Habgood: I fancy a booze cruse

Perhaps we could organise a booze run to Northampton.

How big is the car park at the coop you use in Northampton, maybe room for the Northampton big one???
