![Question](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/icons/icon5.gif)
So, my GF sticks a double duvet (soaking wet) in to the dryer. The dryer takes offence to this ! So much so that it decides enough is enough and sets itself on fire !!
I strip it down, it is as expected..fooked and for some magical mystical reason this has now been deemed my fault ??
I dont even know how to turn the ****** on !!![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
Is it just me that has the blame reversal thing happen ?

You need to perfect the art of turning the blame back round again on to her
But don't expect the relationship to last ![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
For example..did she ever clean out the filter on the dryer? If not..there you go - she should read the instructions, which probably says don't dry duvets or stuff over 4kg or what ever![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
And as for you trying to fix it, well tell hell your saving a £50 call-out charge to fix it which she can now spend on shoes.....hmmm hang on - don't say that unless you WANT to let her spend £50 on shoes, as from woeful experiance - she will anyway![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)

Repeat this matra over and over until it becomes second nature:
Never, ever, consider that you are right on anything. You are wrong, you have always been wrong and you will always be wrong. Even if you were not within 50 miles of whatever has gone wrong, put your hands up and admit that it is all your fault.
Saves a lot of time. Believe me.

Tell her she can't put something that big in something that small.
Remind her she's said that to you at some point, only the dryer didn't have a say in the matter and couldn't stop it happening, she could and did!!
