Without sounding nieve, theres quite a few holidays on ebay that are obtained by scratchcard. Whats the score with them? Are they ok or a rip off

Is it the case that you pay say a £50 admin fee, they got thrown in a karzy of a place or your put in a timeshaer complex with the heavy sell? Just curious as to whats what really ....

In my infinite wisdom, I joined Britannia Music Club a while ago. Anyway they went through a phase of sending scratchcards in with all the other junk they keep sending me. I would get 2 or 3 cards and at least one of them was guaranteed to be a winner, with a holiday as a prize.
Generally, it was a coach-trip to somewhere, spending 2 days on a bus getting there, 2 nights in a hotel and 2 days getting home.
This was for 1 person, if I wanted to take a partner it would cost about £150ish.
I never took any of them up, but I would presume that the holiday is genuine enough, just very boring, and they make enough money out of people paying the £150 to take a partner to balance the cost of your free trip.
