Booze is dirt cheap over hear, even that nasty brown fire water the Jocks make that has to be imported is still cheaper than in the UK.

I buy a crate of 20 bottles of 0.5litre Becks for about 9 quid how much would 10 litres of Becks cost in the UK? or how much is one bottle in the UK? can you even get the half litre bottles??

I get Becks here on Special Offer at £10.98 for 24 x 275 mls bottles. I think that equates to £16.60 per 10 litres but you need to check my maths. My local charges £2.60 for a small bottle which is why I drink it at home I once exported a couple of container loads of booze, mostly spirits, to Africa at genuine duty free prices. Heartbreaking when you realise the actual cost and how much tax in put on! D
