Seeing as it's in Edinburgh tonight, I wonder if they'll view any properties and get the traditional "You'll have had your tea?"![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)

No mention of the price they paid for it yet, but at o/o375k, could see it going for somewhere between 400-500k easily that they had to pay to secure it.
I went for a similar one (1 less floor) 2 years ago, and it was MORE of a dump than that BY FAR! It was o/o190k, and sold for £300k needing £100k plus worth of work....

In fact its OUR MONEY.
They've let a couple of no hope mincers who can talk a good story, try and make some money in a subject they no nothing about.
Which Beeb producer did they have to BJ etc to land that one?
Why didn't the Beeb cut out the fools and let the project mnaager do it. I bet he would have made a few bob!

I hate to admit it, but I really, really liked what they did to that house. Or hoose.
800k? Bonkers! But, on the whole, a nice house very nicely restored and presented.
Interesting to see them getting on better with an "architect", not just plain old Nigel the "builder"![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)

That is Edinburgh I am afraid.
£800k is about right for what it was and in the area it was. A std 3-4 bed bungalow (nothing special) is £300-400k in Edinburgh suburbs now.
What they were selling is a much desired victorian dwelling house about 2 miles from the very centre of Edinburgh (near Sailsbury Crags & Commonwealth Pool for those that know Edinburgh). Everyone in Edinburgh aspires at some point in their life to something like that - HUGE rooms, and very classy.

I still fail to see the point.
They spent nearly 700k - there last property sold for what 435k. So what's the point.
The opening blurb should be we borrowed 700k and turned it in 800k
It's the million pound borrowing program. Yes this time they made 100k within 6months, but with a 700k investment.
The builders must make a fortune out of this as they do everything, the boys then just dress it.

To be fair, for the past two weeks they've made it perfectly clear that they are putting in investment and not at all expecting to do it with profits. Any profits after paying back interest will be given to charity.
They are buying 7 houses and hoping to get to 1 million through investment and improvement. It isn't what I originally thought it was (move up with the profits made), but then again it's still interesting to watch
